At DPT, we know that athletics can build a strong foundation for future community leaders, and we want to encourage that.

The DPT Impactful Performance Award is a $500 scholarship awarded to two local high school seniors and dedicated varsity athletes who excel in their sports and demonstrate a strong commitment to giving back to their community and inspiring the next generation of athletes. This scholarship is awarded to local high school seniors (one male and one female) who lead by example - both on and off the field/court - by mentoring younger athletes, volunteering in youth sports programs, or contributing to initiatives that promote athletic development and community engagement.

Candidates may apply by submitting the following application by April 20th. Candidates should embody the values of leadership, sportsmanship, and service, using their platform to positively impact others and foster a love for athletics in future generations.

In addition to the application, applicants may submit a supporting essay demonstrating how their participation in athletics and or volunteer work in athletics has significantly impacted their personal growth, development, and future aspirations. This scholarship celebrates the power of sports in shaping resilient, motivated, and well-rounded individuals.

Eligible candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Rostered member of an athletics team (JV or Varsity) for all four years of high school. (Can have attended multiple high schools).

• Pursuing higher education at a four-year college or university (do not need to play collegiately).

• Maintain a 3.0 or above GPA.
